According to its technical capabilities, all technological semi-automatic equipment for processing lenses along the contour can be conditionally divided into four groups. The first group includes the most simple structurally — two-three-circular machines with a relay or electronic cycle control system, performing practically only two functions: glass clamping and processing. The shaping of the lens surface occurs due to a template pre-made on special equipment.
Nowadays a lot of materials are devoted to the development, manufacturing, analysis of accuracy characteristics of optoelectronic devices and systems. However, the author did not discover a single literary source, which, taking into account a modern database of these devices would allow students and developers to quickly solve technical design problems and analysis of the possibility of using modern optical-electronic devices and systems for solving specific metrological problems, including the number of high-precision measurements of physical quantities.
